Ecosystem Services Markets with ForestTrends Webinar

This is the first in a series of webinars to introduce important conservation based organizations to SFI Program Participants. Following a brief introduction from SFI Inc. Director, Conservation Partnerships and Communications, Allison Welde, Michael Jenkins, President & CEO of ForestTrends will lead this one hour live webinar and Q&A period and will:
- Provide an overview of the current state of development in ecosystem services markets, including carbon, water, and biodiversity, and
- Discuss potential opportunities for SFI certified companies.
The webinar will feature 30 minutes for the presentation and 30 minutes for a question and answer session. Michael Jenkins is the founding President of Forest Trends a Washington D.C. based non profit organization, created in 1999 by leaders from conservation organizations, forest product companies, research groups, multilateral development banks, private investment funds, and foundations. Its mission is to maintain and restore forest ecosystems by promoting incentives that diversify trade in the forest sector to a broader range of products and services.
