Three Canadian SFI Implementation Committees (SICs) have teamed up to bring you lunch on this first day of our 2014 conference. Our three SICs combined encapsulate over 63 million hectares, or 156 million acres, of managed forest through 67 Program Participants from coast to coast including the provinces of British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. Our SICs help to bring this North American standard down to a regional level through forums to network forest managers and generally broaden the practice of sustainable forest management.
