SFI Inc wishes to thank all of the attendees, speakers, sponsors and others that made the 2007 SFI annual conference a great success!

The theme of this year’s conference was “Certification and the Green Market”—a timely theme given the tremendous growth of certification in this emerging market. From tissue to paper to lumber to doors, our products are front and center in this green market. As such, experts from a number of fields shared their views on the important topics of corporate integrity, procurement, advancements in the carbon market, habitat management, international marketing, chain-of-custody and Greenbuilding.

At the end of the conference, a few key themes emerged, including:

Attendees also took a tram ride to the top of Hidden Peak (11,000 ft) one evening where they received a private tour of the night’s sky which included a view of Jupiter and 3 of its moons. It was also a full moon as you can see by the photo taken by Ray LeBlanc, with AT Limited Partnerships, and chair of the New Brunswick SFI Implementation Committee.
