Plum Creek helps grant wish to 6 year-old Keegan

There's a new logger joining the Plum Creek Timber Company in Essex County, Vermont. Keegan, who has a neuromuscular disorder that impacts the peripheral nervous system, was up for an experience that would stick with him forever.

When Keegan, a 6-year-old boy from Vermont, is exploring the forest, thoughts of his treatment seem far away. His favorite TV shows feature natural sights and outdoor adventures as well, and they fuel his desire to become a logger. So when Make-A-Wish® offered to grant Keegan's wish, his choice was easy: to go on a day of logging.

When Keegan spent the day in the forest with the Plum Creek Timber loggers - riding around in a logging truck thoughts of treatments seemed very far away.  Plum Creek even shut down its operations to personalize his wish and have a dozen lumberjacks cater to his ambitions.
