We are proud to support Scouts Canada in educating youth about how to use natural resources wisely. One of our favorite partnerships is during the annual Canadian Scout Jamboree.  This year a number of unique certified wood products were donated — like these canoe paddles that will stay with CJ’13. Pictured here are two of the of the 100 custom-made paddles made by Oconto Paddles with SFI ® certified from International Forest Products Limited (Interfor).
Paddles_1_smlThe Western Canada SFI Implementation Committee also contributed 4,800 pieces of certified lumber to help build mobile kitchen shelters for the event.  We hope everyone at CJ ’13 had a great time and learned a little more about how to keep forests thriving.
